If they did, it would be because they wanted to bring in a different TE to pair with Davis.

Nothing to do with the salary cap. It's cost versus value. He's either going to restructure his contract or get cut. With his injuries the past couple years, definitely won't be on the squad carrying that figure.

I'll say this though; I'm going to be real pissed if Mario Williams goes to Dallas or New England (or pittsburgh for that case) because I hate those 3 teams the most in the league.
