| Re: Yet Another QB Rumors Thread (Volume 9) Can't help but think the Browns have the edge if they want them. The Rams would only lose 2 spots and can still pick who they want, and they get two first round picks instead of later round picks. In my mind, Cleveland just has a better potential offer if they want him. Also can't help but wonder - we were 5-11, and the browns were 4-12. It's fun to have trounced the SuperBowl winning NY Giants x 2 last year, but it did end up costing us several draft picks if we do this deal for RG3. |

I mean I guess that means the Vikings spot at #3, which seems insanely high to get RT. But if that's the case then maybe the Redskins feel they need to make this move. The danger of course is in getting fooled by a bluff. As for the Eskin rumors...he's an ass. But that's beside the point, that's not quite what I've heard (that's closer to what I'd heard to get Luck at 1) but it's certainly feasible. Been out all day, but from what I've heard some more reports of Orakpo being part of a potential deal are starting to come out. Heard we spent a lot of time with Kirk Cousins today as well. Anyone know if he ran today? If so, what was his 40?

I wouldnt think it would be Miami, Seattle makes a ton of sense to want to do that.

| Re: Yet Another QB Rumors Thread (Volume 9) Smoke screen. Gotta love them. Force the Browns to give up both their #1's and more just to get him then we can trade up from round 2 to the second (late 1st) round pick and get a WR to go along with Weeden. |

| Re: Yet Another QB Rumors Thread (Volume 9) Nothing new really. Had been hearing Dolphins for quite a while. Seems like others are talking about it now as well. But, like I said last night, the Redskins interest in moving up for him (and not Luck) is a minor surprise for me. So I may have been wrong about that. Have to see how it plays out.

| Re: Yet Another QB Rumors Thread (Volume 9) We need to start a Dan Marino rumor about RG3 so that teams pass him up. If no one knows what the dan marino rumor is, it was that he had done cocaine in college.

| Re: Yet Another QB Rumors Thread (Volume 9) If the Redskins don't get RG3 in the draft, then there's always Grossman and Beck. Perhaps Jonathan Crompton will surprise everyone in training camp and be the starter on opening day. |

Describing it as the Redskins vs. time simply points out the reality that the pick wouldn't get moved before draft day if the Redskins were to abstain from being part of the discussions. If you take out the biggest player for the pick, then there simply isn't much trade interest.
