You both could play center better than Rabach did in 2010?

Re: Montgomery signs 4 year deal, Hankerson has hip surgery

Is there a reason Hankerson waited until late Feb to get surgery on his hip? I understand thse players want to rehab it to avoid the knife, but I feel like he would have known earlier than this... I am admitedly ignorant about this type of stuff -- can anyone set me straight?

If I recall correctly, he was told to see if it would heal first before opting for surgery.

That's what I saw in reports. That he's just been doing what he's been told to do by team Doctors, and they apparently thought he could just rehab it.

Does anyone know how much they gave Montgomery. I want them to sign Carricker.

I guess now that he is thirty, he has become a hot commodity and they were afraid he would sign somewhere else, or just leave football for another two years.

My question is why wasn't this done a month after he got the injury? I'm thinking all along he did and that he was almost done with recovery and would be ready 100% come camp.
Hank did run a 4.4 at the combine. That's fast enough.

This is why you need Mentos. To justify your questionable problem solving skills.

Montgomery is very strong. Doesn't seem to translate on the field, but he was like 30 plus 225 if I remember right.

Thanks for that; I had forgotten. Yup, 4.4 is fast enough.

JLC reporting Monty's 4 year extension worth a max of $12 million, no signing bonus.

Surprisingly team friendly. Typically, deals like this are one or two year deals, just so the player has some flexibility. But here, the Redskins have all the flexibility for 4 seasons.

From what I understand, we can cut him any time and suffer no losses before the season starts, of any year in the contract. This is the way the GreenBay Packers have most of their players contracts structured. I like it.
