https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/...nYU1jVnc#gid=0 The FA ratings are by approximate value (AV) accumulated in the last three years. The WR ratings are subjective.

I think in FA, I still like V-Jax, Colston, and Garcon. I wouldnt give Garcon a crazy contract but something decent. If we get Manning, I probably would go with #1 WR money, if not, pay him like a solid second. I think there is gonna be alot of over paying for what results you could get.

| Re: Around the NFL: 2012 Off-Season-Free Agency/Trades so DJ, bowe, branch, wallace, welker, and probably finley and one of the saints (brees/nicks) will get tagged and be off the market. dqwell and brooks are already gone, garcon wants over 7mill a year apparently... I think a flyer on moss and trying for meachem or SJ is probably the best option, though VJ wouldn't be bad either. in the draft i like black (obviously) or criner.

| Re: Around the NFL: 2012 Off-Season-Free Agency/Trades Saints are up against the cap(trying to work the contracts under it) with several good free agents, not to mention Brees. I think it's just negotiations. Last edited by Evilgrin; 03-02-2012 at 11:27 AM. |

| Re: Around the NFL: 2012 Off-Season-Free Agency/Trades Hey Smoot, what's the word on getting a CB through free agency? I somehow get the feeling that the team won't spend a lot of money on getting one of these top CBs, if they are going to spend money on a #1 WR.

| Re: Around the NFL: 2012 Off-Season-Free Agency/Trades Ya I was gonna ask smoot the same question. I would LOVE to have Brandon Carr. But I get a bad feeling that we'll get Ronde Barber.

| Re: Around the NFL: 2012 Off-Season-Free Agency/Trades the best 2 options out there at corner will be Finnegan and Carr, Carr would be my first choice bc of age but i would be fine with Finnegan. At WR im not sure whats going to happen with Bowe, if he somehow tests the market we should snag him, if not i say Stevie Johnson.

| Re: Around the NFL: 2012 Off-Season-Free Agency/Trades Carr had alot of issues in coverage from what I read. After a couple decent seasons, last year was a serious let down. Bringing Carr into to replace Hall doesnt fix the problem.
