Recent video appears to show Peyton Manning throwing deep | Shutdown Corner - Yahoo! Sports

looks pretty good for a guy who cant throw to the left and whose arm is a noodle. Just sayin'. ESPN also verified the video. Its Peyton for sure.

Looks just fine to me. that long ball had to have been 40+ yards, and it was perfect. If that is Peyton at 75%, give it to me all night long big boy. Imagine him over the next 4 months getting even stronger. Peyton is going to rip it up in a big way, no matter where he plays.

If he comes here I'm happy, but the more I think about it I want a QB to come in and learn our system not his system, don't get me wrong I'm sure KS can learn alot from PM but he needs to play our system IMO.

I agree completely. The greatest qb of all time needs to take a backseat to the offensive genious of Kyle Shanahan, who routinely GETS to the postseason with the texans and the 5-11 Redskins.

The reason the texans didn't get to the playoffs was the defense, not the offense. Kyle had no control over that.

It's good to see Peyton Manning throw the football with some pop. As for Peyton becoming a west coast offense quarterback, I don't agree with that. Mike Shanahan, if he signs Manning, should incorporate the types of plays that Manning ran in Indy and tweak the offense to what Peyton Manning does. Period. If not, disaster will strike and so will conflict which is the reason why Peyton Manning shouldn't be a Redskin.

I'm a bit with you. That video doesn't do much for me.

But I'm not negative. Friday morning the world may learn that Manning is in excellent health.

In the case of the 2009 Texans (Kyle's final year there), the defense deserves only little blame for that. The Texans only needed one more win, and it's not like they blew a bunch of late leads a la the 2009 Redskins, they had the ball late in a bunch of their losses.

In 2010, (after Kyle took the same position with Washington), sure, that was one of the worst defensive units in NFL history, and the offense featured a well-rounded Arian Foster-led attack that probably deserved better in 2011.

The important thing for the Texans is that in 2011 they got it right: they kept the offensive gains in 2010 (well, at least they did until injury struck), and fixed an underachieving defense by making it less reliant on stars like Mario Williams and Demeco Ryans, and more of a team oriented attack.

The Kyle Shanahan offense is a lot more vertical than it seems to be given credit for. It's not really a "sideline to sideline" west coast offense
