Manning today is only 35, on March 24th I believe, he will be 36. You could be looking at 5 solid years of play for PM. I want the guy in the B&G for all of those possible years.

There are many on this site that are so sold on RGIII that I don't believe they realize that if he does not work out, that move will have set this franchise back another 5 years.

Give me the QB who comes with less risk and the upside is a winning team again. We have not had a winning season since Gibbs last year in 07. I want to root for a winner again.

We know the doctor gave Manning clearance to play. However, we don't know about his arm strength. Assuming his arm strength is okay, we don't have the offensive line to protect him or a great group of receivers. I also don't have a good feeling that Peyton would want to come to DC with all the losing that's gone on here for years. Maybe Shanahan would make a difference. It's so tempting to go out and get Peyton Manning but there seems to be an awful lot of obstacles.....including the fact that so many other teams are in competition with us.
