Report: Manning doesn’t want to play for the Redskins | ProFootballTalk

Excellent news. Manning doesn't want to play for the Redskins. A short term solution like him wasn't what the Redskins needed @ quarterback anyway. Let's proceed on to trade up to draft RG3 now.

If u think we are really all for RG3. U may be upset on draft day.. if Manning was option 1 which seems like he may have been then we aren't giving up all that for Griffin. Get ready for tannehill at 6

Re: Colts Officially Release Peyton Manning (QB Thread #11)

This is actually a good thingÖ We need our own guy (Hopefully RG3) for the next 10+ years. Iím sure the Redskins haters in the media will say it because the front office is dysfunctional, and he didnít want to play for Dan Snyder but we all know thatís not the case. Iím sure Giantone will gloat and say I told you so, and youíre not going to get RG3 either, but f them all. The Skins will be back on top again, as long as with MS and BS are running the show. Skins fanís, we will have our time in the sun again just wait!!!

Also, letís hope PM goes to Miami, so Matt Flynn will go to Cleveland, and then RG3 will be selected in the 2012 NFL Draft by the Washington Redskins

Ahhhhh hellllllllll, Peyton apparantley doesn't want to come here and now the Browns are showing a lot of interest in RGIII. We may be the odd man out in the get a QB competition.

Washington is on Manning's short list, and he will go to the team that offers the most guaranteed money.

Where have you heard that the browns are now showing a lot of interest in RG3? Last I heard their bluffing and don't want to trade their second first rounder for him.

If the skins don't get RG3, you can count on another 5-11 season.

If that's true then those who want him in DC have nothing to worry about.

ESPN2 stated: The browns GM Tom Heckert said "RGIII was a special athlete". ESPN went on to say that Cleveland is hoping to move up in the draft.

That doesn't mean that they're willing to give up the two first round picks though. I hope too god Cleveland decides on Flynn. We would really only have to compete with Seattle for RGIII.

Well what if we get Flynn? It's a possibility

Everything is speculative right now. The Redskins are still in a position to get RG3. If Allen and Shanahan decide to throw in that 2nd round pick, then the deal will get done long before the draft even begins.

If I were the Rams, I would want from the Browns no less than their two first-rounders.

It's kinda funny how everyone is saying Peyton doesn't want to go to a cold weather team. So, go to Miami where he will have to go to NY, NE and Buffalo.
