yes they were ugly. it looks like reebok did stop making football shoes. but what stops a manning from wearing a 2011 model? is there a uniform rule against it?

unless they are going to be using scotch tape, tape will be white or black or sometimes team color

my impression is those are both fine, since the base color of the shoe is black. the all yellow ones that deangelo, carlos and laron wore all burgundy ones are not allowed and they get fined for those. BUT im not sure this year since nike said they are coming out with team color cleats

i thought both were fine too, so i guess they don't enforce that rule.

Yea and I thought some teams had like mostly one color shoe. Remember Portis and his yellow shoes? didnt' they tell him that he had to wear the same color as the rest of the team and if the team all wore yellow then that was fine?

I think the teams can wear whatever color they want so long as they all wear the same color. for some reason the tape issue I thought was to cover up the name brand of shoe not authorized by the league. In other words if the league is using Nike your fine but if you want to wear Reebok then you have to cover up the logo.

Portis was fined $20,000 for those shoes that didn't match the team. He constantly did things to draw fines and did not care. In that game, he was fined for the shoes, his socks and his tinted eye shield. They fined Sean Taylor $5000 that game for his striped socks too.

yeah supposedly they are reveiling them tomorrow, im just hoping for something not hideious i would prefer the spear helmets though
