I've read somewhere else that one of the EA Sports execs have seen all of the alternates and has said that the Redskins uni is one of the better ones. It is supposed to be a completely modern look - not necessarily a throwback. Take that with a grain of salt, though.

From Orakpo's comment of "Nike still working a third jersey" at the uniform unveiling, I think we could in for a new design instead of a throwback.


They recycled the 75th patch for 80 so I don't know.

Good because they have decided to go with a pink and purple theme with bedazzled seams. Should look hot.

I bet their unis are a solid burgundy with some kind of drab colored pants. That would scream 1932 to me

A Sammy Baugh throwback would be great! I love the style of numerals on those jerseys. Gold helmets!






We did the 1930s-'40 throwback before. 1994. Looked horrible with a modern helmet.

What is so bad with black? Our colors are Burgundy and Gold, just because white has been used since the early 80's as an accent color doesn't mean it has to be white. I could see black and it would look just as good. Black pants Burgundy jersey. Burgundy pants with a Black jersey. Maybe use the Arrow design with black instead of white. Burgundy helmet with black face mask and black and gold arrow.

Our team colors are burgundy and gold. Period. No black, no chrome, nothing else.

Oregon is the worst with this. At times, they wore neither of their team colors at all, green or yellow. Trying to be trend-setting is only stripping away their identity.
