| Re: Tebow a Jet Huge mistake for Jets to get Tebow. As soon as Sanchez throws his first dumb pass, the fans will be yelling "Tebow, Tebow". Sanchez will fall apart and Jets will be infighting more than ever. |

| Re: Tebow a Jet He's a pretty boy with morals that can run around well enough that we can overlook his poor throwing skills. The end.

| Re: Tebow a Jet Not to say that Tebow didn't throw plenty of pathetic passes but a whole bunch of incompletions were just him throwing the ball away to avoid a sack or interception. I believe the coaches told him to throw the ball away if there wasn't a high chance of completion.... they wanted him to play ultra conservative. |

| Re: Tebow a Jet I'm probably in the minority here, but I think Tebow could end up being a decent QB given the right situation and right coaching. Perhaps never a true #1, but at a minimum a reliable backup. That being said, I don't think that is the situation he is heading into but that was his decision. That locker room will likely blow up by mid-season. |

| Re: Tebow a Jet It's not if there will be a QB controversy it's when. I mean the media is going to blow up the drama to stratospheric levels. The moment Sanchez throws an incompletion the crowd will be abound with Tebow chants. Rex has really created a shit storm with this one. |

| Re: Tebow a Jet To me it shouldn't be looked at as pure hype, he's been amazingly clutch. Also he has been amazingly bad as a passer at times. I'd still like someone to give him a shot to run a no huddle offense, to see if he can repeat some of his late game success with the similiarly faster pace. |

| Re: Tebow a Jet Tebow's accuracy is horrible. He can run out of the wildcat formation and throw on the run pretty well. Does Tebow drop back and pass the ball well? No. Can he run an option play? Yes. What about Tebow's deep pass? I've seen this guy throw some boneheaded passes into great defensive coverage only to have the ball picked off. His Heisman hype followed him from Florida to the NFL. He's a great athlete but he's full of hype. |

Besides the 4th quarter spectacle he has been worse than mediocre and undeserving of all the hype. The 4th quarter clutch thing is also largely due to his legs not his arm. So yeah, I agree nearly entirely hype, but I could still see him starting in the right situation at least just to see if he can continue to somehow win games. | |
