| Worst draft of all time? I'm not going to count out the Herschel Walker trade on a technicality because the Vikings did not actually draft him, plus it would be too easy if we included that. I'm going to have to say the 2009 Denver Broncos NFL draft was the worst of all time. They used 3 number 1 picks that year. They used the 12 overall for their backup running back who, they used the 18 on a Defensive end who has a carrerr total of 4 sacks in 3 years. They traded the 14th pick in the 2010 draft (turned into Earl Thomas) for a guy they cut after one season. Their second round pick was cut after two years. They traded two 3rd rounders to move up into the 2nd to draft a guy they cut after two years (one of those 3rds tuned into mike wallace). They had two 4ths, a 5th, a 6th, and two 7ths. The moved up in the 5th by trading their 6th, and then acquired another 6th by trading a 2010 5th round pick and one of their 7th rouders. None of those players are on the team anymore. By my count that is 3 mid/high 1st round picks, a mid second. Two middle 3rds, two 4ths two 5ths, a 6th, and two 7ths in one year. Nothing to show for it. |

| Re: Worst draft of all time? The Patriots drafted Peter Griffin for awhile... Then he sang "Shipoopy" from The Music Man and it all went downhill. The Patriots beat the Redskins too that episode. Boy, that was a sad day.

| Re: Worst draft of all time? What about when Matt Millen drafted wide receivers in the first round three years straight? I thought back then the front office of the Detroit Lions were the NFL's all time worst personnel people. |

| Re: Worst draft of all time? I can't remember half of our draft picks last year and you want me to comment on other teams draft picks over the years. I do remember that the Bears drafted Eli but he did not want to play for them so they traded him to the Giants for Breez. |
