Here's a recent photo of Robert Gryphon III:

If someone made an RGIII shirt like this, I'd buy it.

Re: Redskins rookie signing thread

I came across a pretty good analysis of which of the 9 rookies will make the roster and what their roles will be, too: http://www.redskins101.com/2012/07/1...53-man-roster/

All 12 made it last year, but that's simply not going to be the case this season.

Good breakdown but for whatever reason I think Gettis has a real shot at making the active roster, and I see Compton as the PS type. We'll see how camp goes.

I thought the main reason Griffin wasn't signed, was so he could spend more time at Redskins Park than he could as a rookie*. Any truth to that, or was it just preseason hype?

*(expects John Mara to appear in front of a camera drooling on about "spirit" of something or other, if true.....)

Any word on when RGIII will sign? I know monday rookies report. i dont understand why he hasn't yet. Salary is pretty much set right? why would he wait for Luck to sign if that is the case?

Robert Griffin III expects to sign contract with Redskins soon - The Insider - The Washington Post

According to RG3, he will sign soon enough.

Definitely a good point. I hate the "wait and see" phase that comes around this time of year...

Only in that language... shouldn't mean anything... you trade that for a guy and he's not a 4 year projected starter? You don't give that up for questions and Danny boy ain't cheap

RG3 does have leverage. His amount of dollar$ and cent$ should be equivalent to what Von Miller got for the Denver Broncos last year and what Ndamukong Suh got the year before that.

I think LeRebius is gonna make them the FO think twice about how neccesary some the journeymen OC/OG are.

I think Keenan Robinson is gonna get some playing time.

I think Jordan Bernstine has good shot of making the squad because his physical skillset size/speed suggest that he could possible play 3 positions: SS/FS/CB.

I think Compton and Gettis make the practice squad.

Re: Redskins rookie signing thread

You don't give up what our FO gave up for Griffin then haggle over language.
I'm putting this on FO to get this deal done.
