| Chase Minnifield Waived Redskins just announced they've waived Minnifield and signed this dude David Jones, DB for the Jacksonville Jaguars at NFL.com If no one claims Chase off waivers, I suspect we'll re-sign him and place him on season ending IR

Well, it was the only logical explanation for waiving him after placing him on the PUP. Could backfire on them though

| Re: Chase Minnifield Waived I thought he was looking great in camp. Am I totally off-base here? I get he wasn't fully healthy but was expected to be pretty much back by the start of the season. Perhaps they know they won't have room for him and trying to make the move now.
