Re: Secondary a Primary Concern

Elite WR are gonna make the play more times then not given 1 on 1 coverage, especially against the 3rd DB.

During regular season I doubt Cedric Griffin will be covering elite WRs 1 on 1.
(Heck I hope he's not even on the team)

I'm all for that idea too. Put him on Reggie Wayne this week. Collie might be out, got hurt last game.

It appears that Crawford was a steal where the Redskins selected him. It makes you forget about Chase Minnefield.

Re: Secondary a Primary Concern

If C Griff can get on the field and get crushed play after play with the first team, there is really no excuse, lets see what Crawford can do. C Griff shoulda been cut already, I hated the signing then, and i hate it worst now. I thought C Griff was gonna play safety, no way he is CB material.

Re: Secondary a Primary Concern

Let's face it. If the secondary was above average people would at least be suggesting our D could be elite if all the starters stay healthy.

But no one is because of Hall and the safeties giving up big plays all day long.

The Redskins should have kept Atogwe. I can understand letting Landry go. But all Atogwe had to do was use the offseason to get healthy. But that didn't happen. Let's hope the new additions at the safety position are adequate.

Well this is Hall's last year, Aquib Talib will be a welcome upgrade next year.

How is a troublemaker that is always in danger of going to jail or getting suspended an upgrade?

While resources are limited, I hope the Redskins can do a better job than Talib in replacing Hall next season.

Because he is going to be a really good boy and he wants nothing more than to help the redskins win a superbowl next year?
