| re: Neild Placed on IR, Redskins Add DL Marlon Favorite Damn but he was being pushed big time by Baker who plays both end and nose. I think Baker had the inside track on the roster spot. Good surgery can have him back 100% next year. Our season doesn't hinge on having Nield or not. |

How many rookie defensive linemen can claim they sacked Eli Manning twice in their very first NFL game? But he was average most of last season. Word has it that Chris Baker was pushing Neild hard to become the back up NT. Maybe by injuring his ACL and being put on IR at this early stage of the preseason, Neild actually survived being waived. I hope he can come back next season very determined. |

| re: Neild Placed on IR, Redskins Add DL Marlon Favorite Nield was a rotation guy but in his 2nd year I think we all hoped to see him take the next step and really contribute in short yardage or to sPell coffield. He seemed like a good blue collar guy in the trenches. Stay hungry Nield- see you next year. |

We were all pretty surprised when Neild made it over Bryant last year. So if Baker was doing better than Nield and Nield is an upgrade over Bryant then it sounds like we are starting to get some really good depth at NT. Either way after Neild's huge game last year i became an immediate fan. I feel like he didnt get enough snaps at all last year and really wanted to see him play this year. If he can stay focused a year away from the game working on his technique and trying to get bigger, stronger, and faster might help him. Looking foward to him coming back strong next year.

| re: Neild Placed on IR, Redskins Add DL Marlon Favorite Chris Baker has just about won the back up NT job. Neild proved his worth last season as a 7th round draft pick rookie. All Neild has to do is rehab and work on his strength and conditioning. I look forward to seeing Chris Neild back in '13. |
