Redskins at Bears Post Game Thoughts

Cousins
Aldrick Robinson
2nd String OL
Kehl
Crawford

Negatives:

1st string OL (only 2 regular starters)
Cedric Griffin (cut him now)
RGIII (the OL didn't really help him)
D.Hall (Big mouth, cheapshot who can't tackle)

It'll be interesting if shanahan decides to start cousins in the next preseason game. After all its preseason, so there's no harm in preparing your second string qbs to take over in the event of rg3 getting injured midseason.

I wonder if C. Griffin was signed to make the rest of the secondary look better. He was pretty awful.

i forgot to mention crawford. he's looked good in these 2 small samples

Horrible idea and will not happen.

There is harm in it as well considering game 3 is usually considered the warm up for the regular season, and our rookie needs all the game reps possible.

If anything it will be interesting to see if he starts game 4 which is usually the game that the starters sit out entirely.

I would be shocked. If anything, RG3 needs more snaps with the first team to get chemistry down. Any inkling of Cousins being more ready to lead this team over RG3 is quite frankly insane. Not saying your implying this with the post iamsrk but that's what the notion would be if it occurred. Counterproductive on many levels.

Crawford should be put against first teamers next week. He should be part of the competition for the 3rd cb spot. Griffin can't get any worst.

These are 2 independent statements. Matty K is agreeing that cousins will start and then, on a completely unrelated note, he is saying that he is against the bucs. I wonder what wrong the bucs did to him.
