| Re: NFL Playoff Predictions The offense right now is tailored around Vick. He's a running QB. He's a left-handed QB. Bringing anyone else in will throw everything and everyone off. This is not the savior of the Eagles:

| Re: NFL Playoff Predictions Last I checked, only one or two guys picked the Skins to be wildcard teams before you "brought some realism" and several others hadn't put the Skins in the mix at all. Last year the Giants went 9-7 barely making the playoffs, and that happens with some outside the box team every year. It's not beyond the pale of realism to think that if things break right this year the Skins could get in, and if the division plays out along the lines of last year, a couple well timed end of year wins could put the Skins as division champs. I wouldn't put money on it, I wouldn't personally pick it, but to say that dumping on the 3rd year build of Shanahan's team is "bringing realism", just seems like being a downer for downers sake. As for the normal concerns which feed your realism. Our secondary certainly could be our undoing. Our line, well I expect it to be middle of the road, not great. Rookie qb's of late have not been as ill prepared as others in the past, and I expect RGIII will have an overall positive year, add that to the fact that we will not have 3 Beck games, and I think optimism is finally a realistic realism. |

| Re: NFL Playoff Predictions I think NFL players are slightly more adaptable than this - the Eagles were pretty successful when Vick went down and Kolb took over, - Foles looked excellent so far in the preseason against first team D |

| Re: NFL Playoff Predictions Seems like everyone thinks highly of the Eagles. I don't know why. Their wide-9 defense is horrid, their LB are trash and you know Vick will miss a few games at best. And let's not forget Andy Ried is as one dimensional as Chip Kelly and the Oregon Ducks. Don't get it twisted, the NFC East is the Giant's division to lose.
