DHall logic. 3rd and long? Sure, I'll bite on that double move!

Every time we get into 3rd and long situations I watch his receiver run right by for the long first down...

Re: Another D.Hall Thread.

Gotta love the two sides of the D. Hall argument: those that hate him more than the Dallas Cowboys and those who think he is God's answer to the secondary.

I will never understand this rationale.

A 199 CB's played last year? I'm surprised there are 199 in the entire NFL.

Instead of getting torched one on one as he tends to do, he will now have the advantage of reading the defense and positioning himself in the heart of the offensive movement creating more surprise INT's as well as fast closing tackles.
And who will play CB in his place? So Hall isn't a shutdown CB. He's what the Skins have at the moment. Hope for the best until there's a better option. It could be worse. He could be hurt all the time and a inconsistent player.

We feed off each other. I dont think even dhalls biggest supporter believes he is headed to the hall of fame nor do i believe his biggest hater believes he should not be playing in the nfl. You are rite though - that is how the two sides sound. Like i said - we feed off each other. I started to dislike him when i started on these message boards. I think i hate the people who believe he is a top notch cb more than i hate him. Lol. My problem with him is that he talks up and down the field. Than he gets burned by the number one wr on a pretty consistant basis. Just like anything you do in life - if you are going to talk the talk than walk the walk. I mean i dont think josh wilson is a great corner but i also dont see the guy tackle his man after an 11 yard catch and than stick his finger out and talk trash??????

I sure did.
I thought Carlos was solid...yeah he couldn't catch...but that's why he plays defense, have you seen the preseason, out entire defense has that issue.

Also,
I am sick of the DHall crap...I hate the way he runs his mouth and misses tackles....he blows coverage but mostly covers well. he obviously sucks as a nickle back and safety...why?....he can't tackle.

Re: Another D.Hall Thread.

There are 64 starting CBs in the league. Dhall is arguably not our #1(and we have secondary issues)...so he is halfway between a #1 and #2, his ranking would be likely be somewhere in the 30-40 zone.
So I will go ahead and say it..Dhall is the #35th best CB in the league right now.
He is worse than almost all #1s and better than most #2s

I hope though that he puts his money where his mouth is this year, plays smart and kicks some ass though.

Re: Another D.Hall Thread.

checks the history bubba, i ALWAYS supported resigning carlos, and also said he was the best CB on the market for us when he left. he couldn't catch, but he could cover and tackle, so whatever.
