He had a good game because he was not left alone to be exposed. Couple nice tackles but for the most part i think we hid his weakness. My god was griffin an upgrade on the outside

I wouldn't want DHall blitzing Big Ben. Safeties and LBs only.

You know you don't want him to go too low on a QB tackle or the refs will hit you with a penalty, but he went way too high with that tackle!

Not at all. Look at the photo...Brees went too low.

Hall did a great jog hanging onto Brees' jersey with his fingers, lol. Long as he can stay draped on Ben, others can come in and finish him off.

Hall still gambled at least once, I'm thinking at least twice, when he shouldn't have. He may be good in slot, but we need better corners than him on the outside.

I thought Cedric Griffin was surprisingly consistent on the outside. Hopefully it continues.

Hall already looks for effective lining up inside. Kudos to Haslett, Morris.

Especially on Colston, who has about 5-6 inches on him height-wise. I was a little worried Colston would go Megatron on catches, just snatch them right over Griffin's head. Luckily that didn't seem to happen at all.

...and Cedric was pretty pedestrian in pre-season. Hopefully last Sunday isn't his best game of the season.

Yep, hopefully he's not a shows up for the good teams and doesn't show up against the bad teams.

Watched the NFL Network replay last night and Raheem Morris really has his guys psyched up. When the offense is at work he's rapping with his guys on the sideline (not literally, I mean keeping them engaged) and he CELEBRATES when they make a play. Also you get the feeling if he sees somebody slacking he'll give the next guy an opportunity. If C Griffin struggles I could see Morris giving Crawford an opportunity.

Adding Raheem Morris was arguably our best off-season move behind drafting RGIII.

The Redskins made key additions. Not only adding Raheem Morris, but signing Ike Hilliard as the wide receivers coach. Morris knows how to get the most out of his defensive backs. Josh Wilson, DeAngelo Hall, and the rest of the secondary are playing fast and furious. That's how they have to play in the defensive backfield. I don't see Cedric Griffin experience hardships in coverage all of the time.
