Re: Chris Cooley Released

I just don't get it though. Fred Davis is one strike away from a year long suspension and Nile Paul has a pretty bad case of the drops. Ironically enough I prefer Logan Paulsen at this point to Niles Paul. Hopefully I'm wrong because Paul has tons of upside at TE but right now it's nothing more then potential and empty Shanon Sharpe comparisons.

I'm not worried about Fred Davis and Trent Williams getting suspended for the year. I think they learned their lesson. Especially when Freds in a contract year, he knows that he messes up and he's going nowhere to get a good contract. '

True enough. And it's also nice that releasing Cooley gives him complete freedom to choose where he wants to go, assuming he still wants to play.

No shit. Nothing would be worse that Captain Chaos himself wrecking our trash secondary twice a year while the fans blame BA and co for it happening.

IMO, he'll end up in either Arizona or with the Jets, both of which are fine by me.

Cooley in Oaktown...yeah I see it. He's gonna play with a mean streak and that team is one place you can buy into it all the way.

Me too. In the end I just dont think the coaches believed he could stay healthy and decided to give him a chance to catch on with another team. Health was the main reason, not money.

Chris Cooley’s bloggiest Redskins moments - DC Sports Bog - The Washington Post

3 TDS vs Dallas will always be my favorite Captain Chaos moment.
