| Re: Skins vs Saints predictions Yeah valid way to look at it for either. Plus Haslett used to coach on the Saints, don't you think that's some extra motivation to win right there? Dial up some heat?! Pile it on. Rough 'em up! But don't say that. For money. Or gift certificates to Bath & Body Works.

| Re: Skins vs Saints predictions Wasn't sure where to put this but thought it was an interesting piece of stat-age. From Adam Schefter's 10 Spot on ESPN.COM. "The Eagles' opponents combined for 625 sacks last season, which is the fifth-most by any group of combined opponents for a team in 2012, according to the Elias Sports Bureau. It looks as though Griffin, Weeden, Roethlisberger and Flacco also will be on the run quite a bit more than other quarterbacks. The Redskins' opponents this season combined for 649 sacks last season, Browns opponents had 636, Steelers opponents registered 635 and Ravens opponents rang up 630." So according to this stat, the teams we are playing this year have the #1 combined total number of sacks from last year in the NFL. Don't like hearing Griffin having to play against those odds.

| Re: Skins vs Saints predictions Believe it or not I think Morris will start because he's been proving that he can handle the physical workload. If he doesn't start I think he plays a majority of the plays at the rb position. And I've liked him since reading his draft scouting reports and seeing some of his clips from college. His style complements RGIII and seems to get at least a couple of extra yards each carry. 2 extra yards are significant on 3rd downs. |

| Re: Skins vs Saints predictions If the Rams beat the Saints last year, we CAN do it too. I'm just not sure we can do it losing our two starters in the secondary and against the best passer in history.. They're going to be amped to prove themselves after the scandals, and D-line doesn't matter with Brees quick delivery. So unfair that at the same time their suspended players just got activated.. Here's what we need to do to win the game: 1) KILL the head, and the body will die!! We want Brees to be running sideways!! (ie. create pressure up front) 2) Run the ball & get turnovers (that's how ppl beat them last year) 3) Score. Lots. Last edited by ethat001; 09-08-2012 at 06:40 AM. |

| Re: Skins vs Saints predictions I certainly want a 'W' tomorrow, but at least, I want a good solid game played by the 'skins. I want to see the defense put a lot of pressure on Drew Brees, and I want to see a good performance by the offense. Would like to see them score 21 points at least, and not have half of those points scored in garbage time. I think it will be a good game.

| Re: Skins vs Saints predictions We've got a chance boys, I've got a $50,000 bounty on Brees More seriously I think we have a chance to win this. While we haven't been a winning team under his tenure, shanny has shown a habit of winning big games That we shouldn't eg packers, bears, cowboys in 2010, or last Year both giants games. He can make a good game plan. I think we lose ultimately but I'm not counting us out Saints 31 Skins 27 |

| Re: Skins vs Saints predictions The skins matchup well against the Saints, skins have lots of talent on offense and defense, the secondary although still weak (is better than last year). RGIII can't be worse than Grossman who managed to produce 30 pts. against them in their last meeting with a much weaker team all around.

| Re: Skins vs Saints predictions Tough away game. The crowd and team are going to go nuts. Brees isn't the best passer this season, let alone best ever, but he's at home in a dome. Would love an upset. But as long as our O and D look decent and rg3 doesn't get hurt, I'd be kinda OK with a respectable loss. |
