| Re: Around the NFL Week 1 A couple of Week 1 related thoughts. I think both the Jags and the Vikings are going to surprise this year. I think both the Lions and Rams are really going to struggle.

| Re: Around the NFL Week 1 The Jags need MJD back up to speed, but I am sure he'll get there. The Vikings will win on the legs of AP. He better stay healthy.

| Re: Around the NFL Week 1 The Eagles...man. They're going to go better than .500 on the strength of their defense alone but is that going to get it done against the Giants or Cowboys or perhaps even the Redskins? The Browns defense just beat the everliving crap out of the Eagles offense.

| Re: Around the NFL Week 1 Bears and Falcons are the teams to beat in the NFC. Not the 49ers or Packers.

| Rams of course I mean they have no talent, no way should we lose next week. Lions are good but I've never trusted Stafford, he's avg in my book and only for megatron was Stafford so good last year IMO

| Re: Around the NFL Week 1 Some people always say that about the Rams and what has been the result the last couple of games? Rams are a lot better than you think.

| Re: Around the NFL Week 1 You don't think that beating GB in GB is impressive? Especially in a dominating fashion. The Bears play the Niners later this year on a Monday Night, will see. I hate the 49ers worse than the Cowboys and want to see them lose, but they've got a great team, very well balanced all around with a great defense.

| Re: Around the NFL Week 1 I know, but you should always be cautious. The Rams to we will be one of the improved teams this year along with TB.

I would have put New Orleans in that class too, and think they'll rebound, but the Saints did not play well today. We were, flatly, the better team at the Superdome today.
