True, but that's not on the defense or defensive play calling.
Contradiction...

We are one of the least "deep" and talented in the league, and you may not see Amendola have a better game then this because there are better secondary's that'll be able to man up and jam him off the line.

Haslett didn't have many options.. I don't know what he could of done besides play man across the board, and hope for the best. Even then, I don't see Riley being able to man up on the slot all game.

If it was ME. I would of brought in Crawford to man up Amendola in rotation w/ Hall and run a Over Man at the top. Still wouldn't of stopped the quick throws, but at least we could made Bradford think about it.
This is what I'd have done also. Haslett didn't adjust and he should have mid-way through the 1st qtr at the latest...it's pretty obvious. The Rams were moving up and down the field with ease, gotta change things up.

Excellent point. It would huge if the defense could keep that up.

Remember the Saints a couple of years ago? They gave up tons of yards and points. But the defense also put points on the board, enabling them to win the big dance.

Giants and Patriots had two of the worst Ds last season, so did Green Bay.

San Francisco was the exception...big season BECAUSE of their D.

Giants D was lights out, especially the front 7, by playoff time though.

Patriots never got it together.

Giants win SB.

Still confused about the Danny Smith thing. They had him re-signed back around the beginning of OTA's......oh well.

Something tells me Haslett will be the head coach once Mike Shanahan decides to step down. Unless the Redskins become a top 2 defense and Shanahan stays, I expect Jim Haslett to be a head coach somewhere else in the NFL.

Dude!! You are wrong, he is not good enough to be DC and you think he can be a HC? No way in hell!! He has been headcoach twice (if you count the Tuskers job) and interim HC with the Rams. He is done as a HC.

I would be willing to wear a haynesworth jersey with a mcnabb hat to the home opener over this ever happening because i am willing to sacrifice my body for the benefit of my team. Besides haslett becoming ours or anybodies head anything being wrong on so many levels what is the part about shanny sticking around if we become a top two defense mean?

Really? Have you ever heard of a guy named Kyle Shanahan?
