| Re: Redskins vs. Bengals Post Game Reaction **** Landry, Carlos let himself go and RIP Mr. Taylor All that said, I said before and I'll say again that I'd rather they had gone all out to get Carr from KC this off-season rather than Morgan, even Winston. I think you mask poor OL play much easier than you can mask poor DB play

| Re: Redskins vs. Bengals Post Game Reaction I still like what I see out of RG3. The whole offense seems improved and keeps us in any game. But our defense is just piss poor and we will not win many games this season with them performing the way they have been so far. Honest question here, is Jim Haslett fired at the end of the season if the defense stays this bad every week? We know Mike and Kyle are here for one more year, but how bad would things have to get for both Shanahans to get fired? Less than 3 wins???

| Re: Redskins vs. Bengals Post Game Reaction GOOD RG3- Mental Toughness and Poise continue to impress... continues to get up after taking some mean ass hits. No more Vick comparisions. He's skies and miles above Vick's durability A. Morris- Ran the ball well for a 3rd straight game; no fumbles, had a nice bruising 12 yd run; should get at least 20 carries per game (only 17 today) Special Teams- NO BLOCKED PUNTS!!, solid punt and kickoff coverage, Banks's 55yd return. BAD Secondary- Our secondary personnel is near unprofessional... Missed tackles, poor coverage, looking lost in coverage, I could go on. FS and SS need to be addressed in FA and/or the draft. Zone Read Option- RG3 will not start a full season if this play is used more than 5-10 per game. The Bangals D began to key in on this play in the 2nd half; and we nearly had 3 fumbles. Jordan Black- Allowing 3 sacks to Michael Johnson is disgraceful, and Black needed to be benched. I thought the interior OL (Monty, Litch, Chester) and for some stretches Polumbus played decent. 2 of those 6 sacks RG3 held onto the ball too long, but for Black to allow 3 sacks and not be benched is a shame. |

| Re: Redskins vs. Bengals Post Game Reaction Well the answer to your question in regards to who behind Black has gotten reps at LT is Tom Compton.

| Re: Redskins vs. Bengals Post Game Reaction I think Maurice Hurt was active; he's played some T before, but if he wasn't then yeah, we would've had to play Black (which we did) the entire game. IMO Black just stood out (in the bad way) this game to make us think about cutting him this wk and let him retire. |

| Re: Redskins vs. Bengals Post Game Reaction Are you guys seriously blaming the Shanahans? We've put up more points the past three games than we did (probably) half the season last year. It's a lack of talent on defense right now. I got caught up thinking we would be elite, but a few injuries here, a few terrible refs there, and suddenly we look like shit. I don't blame the Shanahans on this one. At least it's exciting to see a ton of scoring. It used to be it was run, run, pass and then giving up third down on defense. At least we eliminated the run, run, pass.

I was/am happy with the Garcon signing. Thought Morgan was over the top and would have spent the money better on Carr.

| Re: Redskins vs. Bengals Post Game Reaction I'm also ready for our defense to get a couple early stops so that Morris can break the hundred yard barrier. The man is good, but we're always playing from behind.

Would have loved to pick up Carr, but do you think it's our DBs getting beat so bad or just being put into impossible situations? Overall, I've felt like our DBs have had some pretty decent coverage. We've had a few missed tackles, but when we give up short passes, it seems that everyone is wide open (including Wilson's side who I think is pretty good).

I somewhat agree with this. Wonder if they should have gone after Carr in the off-season as compared to Garcon or Morgan? I realize our WRs were shitty, but so are our DBs. In a way, I think they are in a no-win situation. If they go out in FA and address pricey DBs acquisitions , then the WR and OL suffers. If they address pricey OL acquisitions, then the WR and DBs suffer. If they address pricey WR acquisitions, the DBs and OL suffer. You only have but so many resources (picks and cap room), but STILL with a ton of holes left on this team. Injuries are simply killing this team right now though. That and stupidity. (aka..smoking weed and failing drug tests)

| Re: Redskins vs. Bengals Post Game Reaction I hope they bring up Compton. If there are going to be any tackle struggles on the oline, I'd at least like it to be a rookie gaining some experience. |
