| Re: 2013 Free Agents He's a solid player. I like the whole list with Keller IF Fred leaves. I honestly don't think we need a superstar TE with RGIII now throwing the ball. He's made Paulsen look just as effective as Davis. Cooley and Davis were great to have when our WR corps were in the dumper and we had one of he worst QB situations in the league, but RGIII can spread the ball around and make everyone effective, at least when they can catch the ball, Leonard. I like the move of NOT keeping Fred and his overpriced salary. Between injuries and suspensions, he hasn't been worse the price we've been paying. When on the field, he's been a star, but that hasn't been enough. I like Paulsen and another serviceable TE like Keller holding down the fort at TE. Niles Paul can go too. Experiment over, although he's a special teams beast.

| Re: 2013 Free Agents can andre smith waltz around in our blocking scheme? i have to admit, i haven't watched any tape on him, but i remember his rookie year on hard knocks, he had a massive rack. i wouldn't expect him to fit our scheme. someone w more knowledge, shine some light upon my darkness.

| Re: 2013 Free Agents bleacher report is terrible. vollmer is a better RT, we don't need 2 safeties, and our #1 TE should be davis (though keller is one of two fallback options). If we're tight on cash skip RT and look at hall or london to restructure or get cut (only if the money is needed and we have a viable replacement). I doubt he hits the market, but if byrd is there, you gotta try to get him in.

| Re: 2013 Free Agents As long as the RT is serviceable, that's all that matters. I'm willing to bet Mike Shanahan may draft a RT in the 3rd or 4th round to stabilize the RT position. A free agent will probably do, but a solid RT can be found in the draft.

| Re: 2013 Free Agents I thought that Polumbus played well late in the season and the Skins are high on Tom Compton, as well. Compton could compete for the starting job at RT in training camp. Based on the expected development of those two players, RT could be a stronger position next season.

| Re: 2013 Free Agents Our franchise QB needs to learn how to slide, that has nothing to do with the o-line IMO.

| Thats how he got injured this time, but he could get hurt in the pocket too. I agree with Mbender - we need to sure up the right side of the line. Coming off his second major knee injury, his protection should be priority one. Even if the oline can only help him when he isnt out in front of them so be it. When he is out in front of them -hell yeah he has to learn how to slide! Lol.

| Re: 2013 Free Agents Im still lobbying for Brandon Albert over all lineman that will be out there. Vollmer would be solid too. Not interested in Andre Smith personally hes being let go because of his play not a salay cut his contract wasn't big I guarantee it. Also... Tell me Dwayne Bowe wouldn't be an awesome fit. He's really matured and developed into consistent borderline at times elite receiver. He'd do well here. Goodbye Morgan.

| Re: 2013 Free Agents It seems to me that a lot of us either don't value Polumbus, or we underestimate him. He truly had a wonderful season. Re-signing him for another $700,000 contract would be more cap friendly than signing that guy from New England anyways.
