He was 8th in the league in combined tackles/assists last year. He was 7th in interceptions . He was 1st in interceptions among linebackers. London Fletcher is one of the leagues elite linebackers. Period. Obvioulsy, he cant keep playing at this level forever, but he's shown very little signs of slowing down. For the money, we wont find anyone better to QB our defense. We have guys on the roster who we're grooming to step in when he does retire, but we dont need to actively go out looking for someone. Quote:

| Re: 2013 Free Agents Davis would be near the top of my list of offseason priorities. The guy is a top 10 TE in this league and adds a valuable dimension to the offense. Not many TE's can stretch the field like he can and rack up yards after the catch. |

| Re: 2013 Free Agents They didn't mention Ed Reed. I don't know how I feel. I feel like if you got Delmas at a low price or Goldson at a low price they could be worth it. Albert too is an intriguing prospect.

From the other article, Ryan Harris would be an outstanding pickup at RT also. If he can avoid being another Jammal Brown that is...he's had injury issues. Hopefully we get one of these two guys.

| Re: 2013 Free Agents If Goldsons leaves San Fran I don't see him going somewhere else for a low price. You go somewhere for a low price usually because they are super bowl contenders and you are chasing those rings, the problem is he already is on one plus San Fran has some cap room. I think any deal we could offer him they probably would have already offered him before. |

| Re: 2013 Free Agents We're tight on the cap for this year. BUT anyone know the estimated numbers for 2014? Does this mean that we have TONS of money to spend in 2014, and how much can we backload contracts this year? |
