Release or restructure Hall: savings: 5-8 mil. Release or Restructure Moss. Love the guy, but more than 3 mil for a slot guy seems high: savings: 3-4 mil Retire Fletcher: savings: 4 mil. Restructure Trent Williams: savings 2-3 mil Release Carriker: savings: 3 mil Savings: 17-22 mil I think we can afford to fill the holes made by the cuts with a few guys that will be on the market. Maybe someone could help with who we could sign to make the team better and fill these holes if we had 17 mil to spend.

| Re: 2013 Free Agents So if we release Hall, please tell me who is going to step up and take his place as interceptions leader.

There is also a good chance that someone will lead the team in sacks, tackles, fumbles recovered, or passes defensed. Wonders never cease.

| Re: 2013 Free Agents I'm all for cutting Hall, however I do see why people want to keep him being that theres not many starting caliber CBs out there. People have thrown out the names Greg Toler and Leodis McKelvin, but a lot of these CBs in the draft are as good or better than those guys.

| Re: 2013 Free Agents I think cutting Hall is probably a little more complicated than we think. If we test the FA market to replace Hall, at what cost does that happen vs a restructured Hall deal? If we draft a rookie, unless he's a stud, it's hard to imagine he'll come in an adjust and not skip a beat. More importantly, who's behind Hall today, currently on the roster, that can step in and start? Deangelo played a lot of snaps last year and probably had his best game shutting down Dez Bryant in week 17. I just don't think it's a no brainer to cut him and move on like some are suggesting. Flaws and all, he's a seasoned vet and knows the system very well. |

| Re: 2013 Free Agents It's not complicated. If we release Hall, we have a hole in the roster that needs to be addressed, and about $8 million more to use. If we restructure Hall (he agrees to a pay cut), we have the same hole, but significantly less money to address it with. This is not a brain teaser.
