| Re: Falcons at Redskins Post Game Thoughts in the grand scheme of things, there's actually not much i would change about this team. keeping several things in mind (cap penalties, rookie qb, new starting wrs, losing orakpo and carriker, etc.), i think we're doing alright. it's hard not to be excited about what the future holds when our qb is robert griffin iii. we have been in every single game, never losing by more than 1 score. they're fighting hard, i admire that. that's my take on it

| Re: Falcons at Redskins Post Game Thoughts It's easy to watch a kicker who makes every FG in practice because there isn't any pressure on him, and a WR who is getting beat out by better WR's on the roster.

| Re: Falcons at Redskins Post Game Thoughts I don't want to open up this discussion again but the cap penalty was not our fault. I think it sucks that we had to resort to that and that came from Vinny's mess. But the fact that we got hit with a 36 mil penalty was all the NFL's doing.

| Re: Falcons at Redskins Post Game Thoughts how much should the giants get docked for violating the spirit of competition by winning 2 super bowls in the last 5 seasons?

| Re: Falcons at Redskins Post Game Thoughts 5 points/observations/etc. from yesterday's game: 1. I really hope the light goes on over RGIII's head about getting out of bounds 2. I think RGIII should sit out this week vs. the Vikings. Coming back from concussions too soon seems to lead to more concussions. I don't want this thing compounding, and it might be good for him to see a game from the sidelines then come back strong for the G-Men. 3. I am convinced that Jim Haslett does not even go into the lockerroom at halftime. There are no adjustments made by our defense ever. Whatever the strategy is the 1st drive of the game, its the same the last drive no matter the results. Seemed like we rushed only 4 95% of the time. 4. Everyone needs to calm down about the world ending, we are a few players short of having a good chance of making the playoffs, I think if we have 1 more good draft class and get some secondary players we will be solid. 5. Pierre Garcon was a good signing, he had a bad game, but Julio Jones is a beast! Man that kid is big and intimidating as a WR. |
