Just me, but that's what I REMEMBER.

Part of me also has a foggy recollection of RG3 toasting them down the field for a game-winning drive. That's just me though.

Last game you MIGHT be able to make an argument, but we lost RG3 so the jury is out on that game.
Thats true the running game we are pretty good. RG3 didnt lose us any games but the fact is our O didn't do nothing in the half of the Rams game we destroyed the Saints and the bengals D is awful too.

You are right tho . Im just saying we have yet to play even a good good D yet we are playing teams who struggle. ATL last game had QB's having bad ratings so its no surprise there D is better than we think passing wise.

Bucs also gave Eli manning like a career day in yards like 500 yards?

Ding ding ding. We have a winner.

Apparently, according to the predictions thread, if we win by 13 points but allow over 20, some people will be angry.

Redonkulous.

Texans, Niners, Ravens, Giants (streaky but sooooo dangerous when it peaks), Falcons, Bears and (surprisingly) the Vikings are all quite good this season. The SB winner is probably in the group (not the Vikings lol).

Then you've got group probably led by the Cardinals, Patriots, Steelers, Rams that are quality.

Then somewhere way down toward the bottom is the Skins defense.

You know what's really, really old? Excuses for why Mike Shanahan can't build a solid team and win in a good division.

Thank u. For some reason people bash you but you mostly speak the truth . It took Shanny 3 years to finally try and rebuild? shouldnt QB and RB been adress year one? even on D why was 3-4 changed ......it was still 4-3 units heck it is still now. Shanny is overrated 2 sbs in 1998-99 guess what guys its 2012 . We have entered a new era.

And he was in a easier division than the NFCE he is just not the coach you want within our division we bite his division stood and looked and hesistated.

The bigger picture is whether Mike and Kyle can put together a traditional style offense that scores points. Add in the three FGs Cundiff missed and we would have broke 30.

Does anyone else see an irony in a redskin fan complaining about the offense regressing because it failed to score 30 points?

Lol yea 30 on the saints-bengals who have top 5 worst D in league they are ranked that because they r easy to score on.

Why doesnt any one see the irony of us allowing 25 points a gm.

We all agree that the defense sucks lol but your not accepting the fact that we are pretty good on offense, maybe u don't like the shannys idk but 28 ppg after 5 weeks is pretty dang good

for the record, points per game our opponents are ranked:
NO 29th
StL 9th
Cin 21st(not bottom 5 as you claimed)
TB. 17th
Atl. 8th

We scored 24 or more in each game (I know the d could be credited with a td in each game but unless you want to start defending the defense lets table that part)
conversely Minnesota has reached 30 only once and there opponents d's ranks aren't much different:
Jac 24th
Ind. 23rd
SF. 1st
Det. 26th (2tds were long special teams returns)
Tenn. 31st (incidentally the only team Minnesota scored 30 against)

edit: changed rankings from total points to points per game to account for bye weeks. stats from espn.com

As for the irony of the D, I dont really see it as ironic. Shanahan historically has weak d's, we have lost several key players, and we knew our secondary was a weakness going into the season. Shanahan and Haslett should be accountable for that part at seasons end.
