Tired of seeing the "Fire This guy" after our best win of the season. Everyone is screaming for Hasletts head, but still dont realize that we have two safeties that wouldnt be starting for any other team in the NFL right now, and we thought we could sugar coat it with a great pass rush but we lost one of our best pass rushers. Im not covering for Haslett because hes obviously not perfect, but nobody is perfect and not every play call is perfect. Btw.. people can complain about our "college style" offense but its pretty much unstoppable and a hybrid of something nobody has ever seen. Its mostly possible with RG3 and Kyle/Mike did and awesome job this season coming up with this scheme. I enjoy watching it. I rewatched a lot of the game and the Vikings picked their poison yesterday. They want to stop Alfred "Bently" Morris and they did for the most part but RG3 showed he can beat you with his arm and legs as well. Most important thing today for me was not defense, offense, special teams... 6-12 on 3rd downs

| I'm thinking the same thing. The receivers looked like they were running routes instead of blocking. |

He shouldnt be fined, but we also know that Roger loves to fine the skins for the most mundane of things. Look at the bright side, we havent had a blatant call overturned by a disgraceful review. We normally have a few of those by now. | |

| Re: Skins/Vikings post game thread I'm going to disagree with you on this. Yes they stink but they also gave the offense 14 of the 38 points yesterday. |

| Re: Skins/Vikings post game thread This may be nothing but did anyone else notice Kirk Cousins negative body language during the game? I mean, he was expressionless and motionless as RG3 ran past him on the game-clinching 76-Yd TD run. Cousins didn't even turn his head to watch RG3 score. I'm wondering if Cousins might be developing an attitude problem.

| Re: Skins/Vikings post game thread I thought we were going to be blown out after that first quarter. Holding them to nine points was pretty damn good after they moved down the field with ease. Two turnovers led to 14 points. The final one sealed the victory and gave us our first "Victory Formation" since I can't remember when. The longest pass play was 20 yards. We gave up about five in the 15-19 yard range. BUT - for the first time, no plays more than 40 yards in the entire game. In the 2nd half, they gave up three long time consuming drives which yielded 14 points. It's not the Steel Curtain, but it was enough to win and had some very good things to counter the very bad things.

| Re: Skins/Vikings post game thread Monster games yesterday: RG3, Lorenzo Alexander, Silverback, Perry Riley, Fletcher, and Stephen Bowen. Bowen and Riley have quietly had great seasons.

| Re: Skins/Vikings post game thread This was a well played game against a good team at home. This is what teams that are on the right track are supposed to look like. The Vikings are going to win eight plus games this season. In this one, Ponder was just a little bit off all day with his accuracy. Matt Ryan had the same issue last week as well. Biggest difference was that we didn't leave Ponder in the game for four quarters like we did with Ryan last week. Both showed some late game ability to put it all together, but yesterday, it didn't matter. The defense is playing adequately, given it's talent level. You can't start a bunch of guys like Rob Jackson, Madieu Williams, Reed Doughty, and Jarvis Jenkins and expect to have great results, but these results are more than acceptable as long as there are no stinker performances like the 2010 Eagles game. We can live with what the D is giving us right now. The special teams and the offense has to come to play like they did yesterday, but every week. They can't collapse and go back to how they were against TB and ATL.
