| Re: Should Mike Shanahan be fired? All NFL teams are in a ton of games every year. The worst teams can be within 3-7 points every week and loose them all very competitive but pro teams by definition are and should be competitve. It's the winning organizations that win the 3-7 point games every week that is the difference. Why hasn't anyone started a string about the skins not having a hurry up offense? When ever there are critical times in a game the skins are in huddle as if there is no clock. Do the Shananhans need that much control of a game that they are not playing in? Even in 2 minute situations, the offense is in huddles? Is that good coaching? |

| Re: Should Mike Shanahan be fired? I'm neither but I love Coors Light. It's sure better than Miller light. Might as well just drink a bottle of water. I also like Milwaukee's Best, but for some reason, now and then I like a cheap ass beer.

| Re: Should Mike Shanahan be fired? I understood you. BA seems like a good dude, and it was encouraging to hear how he's changed the culture at Redskins Park for the better. I suspect we haven't seen his hand in personnel decisions much, which is disappointing.

Mayhew? eh. Jury's very much out on him. In his five year tenure (Hey, look at that, another five year term) his teams have are 20-47. They have had one winning season and appear to be taking a big step back this year. But to clarfy - I think Allen has done a very good job at acquiring talent, a great job in accumulating draft picks and a stupendous job at removing the Cerrato stank at Redskins Park.

| Re: Should Mike Shanahan be fired? absolutely NOT. Shanahan has reshaped this roster with young talent in basically two years. THe offense is working very very well, and needless to say without our #1 receiver, that we all saw when healthy and on the field does make a difference. Our TE is down, but most importantly we have RGIII, and the Shanny's are doing a spectacular job of designing the offense to suit his strengths. Total shame to show Shanahan the door at the end of the season. |

Only one of those 3 were inferior to JC.(beck) The other two were upgrades over JC, which isn't saying much. The only time JC ever sniffed a playoff game was when he went down and a bum Todd Collins led the team into the wild card spot. That said, I still did not like the trade for McNabb and I wanted Mike to bring in competition at the QB spot until he could draft his own.

| Re: Should Mike Shanahan be fired? Regardless of how many Redskins fans feel, this team is only a year away from prime time. The Redskins have pieces on both sides of the ball but they need to attain a little more in the draft, free agency, and by making trades. It's too bad that the pass defense became so anemic this season. The pass defense is the only thing that's been holding this team back. The offense has been doing their part. I'm not able to recognize if it's the coverage schemes that the defensive coaches are employing or if the problem is having the wrong personnel. Either way, something has to change either now or in the off season. |
