Wait, you mean to tell me that a man (Stan Kroenke) with a net worth of 3.2 billion can't afford to pay 2 coaches, but Dan Snyder can?.....lol Wrong.

| Re: Should Mike Shanahan be fired? I've gone from wanting to keep Shanny to where I need him to prove something now. If he can only win 5 or 6 games this year, I wouldn't mind a bit if he's fired at the end of the season. My hunch-backed granny could win 6 games with RGIII at QB.

But Denver made a ton of mistakes after firing Shanahan. I'm not suggesting by any means that we fire the coach and trade RG3 to the Rams for Sam Bradford and two first rounders, then hire Josh McDaniels and start Kirk Cousins.

But if your point is he could afford it, then yes, yes he could.

| Re: Should Mike Shanahan be fired? I think Mike has improved the personell on this team and except for the secondary put it in pretty good shape for the next HC and his new assistant coaches.

| Re: Should Mike Shanahan be fired? Players get the blame. The coaching should prevent the players (even seasoned ones like Moss) from dropping them. This team never made the flight to Pitt.

It still is. The talent has been addressed on the offensive side of the ball and it shows. There still is a vast number of holes to fill on the defensive side of the ball. Mike inherited a old team with little to no depth. Add a restrictive FA, Lockout, and capgate and it doesn't help matters one bit. I'll stand steady on my thinking that Haslett was a bad hire to begin with. Why hire a man who doesn't want to run the scheme, nor has he ran it in a decade. Was he turned down that many times by DCs? Miami won their division Sporanos first year and then fell flat on its face. Having a anomaly season isn't being better, it just means it was a fluke. Also, I don't quite call a 3-3 team a playoff team. Mind you, they were handed one of those wins by San Diego, AND they play in the horrible AFC West. Denver isn't better since firing Shanahan. Not by a long shot.

Could an architect and Shanahan co-exist? Stranger things have happened.

| Re: Should Mike Shanahan be fired? So why weren't you complaining when the receivers were catching the passes up to this game? Again, I think it's typical Redskins fan knee-jerk reaction, but why should I expect anything different? When the players don't execute, it's the coaches fault, but when they do, it's completely the players' credit and none to the coaches. At least you guys are consistent, lol!

| Re: Should Mike Shanahan be fired? So now a 3-3 team is better than when Shanahan was coaching in Denver?....lol That's simply hating just for the sake of hating. Yeah, we should have brought in Jeff Fischer, who's currently got the same record as Mike. (3-5) It was a fluke. 3 passes. 2 of those passes were over 50 yard YAC. Look at the game and the stats and come back and tell me exactly how amazing Tebow was. Which is why he got curb stomped by New England.....AND he got traded that following off-season. You really aren't helping your case here.
