| Re: Should Mike Shanahan be fired? Was just thinking, two of the last three Redskins head coaches came out of retirement to coach the Skins. The third guy is a journeyman QB coach on his third or fourth NFL team. (Chiefs) |

You seem to hold being a moderator in an oddly high regard. We're just here to keep the discussions flowing and keep the spammers, assholes and trolls out. That's it. Our opinions aren't some sort of calculated mass conspiracy. Nor should they be held in any higher regard than anyone else's. Funny you bring up people avoiding discussion, because I know plenty that have recently and it's not because of why you seem to think. It's quite comical how you see things really. Paranoid much? | |

2. I, among others I am sure, have been avoiding this discussion b/c this horse has been beaten to death, turned into dogfood, fed to the dog, sh** back out, used as manure to grow hay which was fed to the previous horse's colt which in turn was beaten to death, turned into dogfood ... At this point, this thread is essentially a never ending rant by Shanny haters. It is fun to visit to watch their frustration. 3. I can't believe I quoted and responded, to a Goat Quote. May God have mercy on my soul.

| Re: Should Mike Shanahan be fired? I didn't particulary like Shanahan when we brought him here. It's pretty easy to check. But I was happy as hell Vinny was gone and we had a real GM. I was willing to give him a chance and changed my sig to reflect it. I've been excited at times. Especially about RG3. But now I think the flaws are coming out and the things I didn't like about Mike then are the same they are now. He's the same guy they got rid of in Denver. I think we are better off in some areas since he got here and would now like to see what a new offensive minded young HC and an experienced motivated (unlike Haslett) young DC could do. If we're sticking with the 3-4 than get an experienced 3-4 coach. I haven't researched guys but there is certainly some talent out there. I had no idea who Mike Smith was until he became coach of the Falcons. Mike's gonna be what he was...he lost his team his owner his defenses the last years sucked and we've all heard the micromanaging egomaniac stories. We have a GM and some young talent and probably the best QB or one of the best in the NFL. Thanks Mike for helping to clean house. Let's move on now.

| Well several years ago i went on. Didnt really post that much but noticed a couple mods were just ruthless. Some other poster said something to that effect. I replied something to the effect of - yeah they're rough around here and they gave me a peahead. That made me angry i used rude language basically inviting the boot and got it. Was alittle to lacking of the constitutional rites for me. Than i went back on a few months ago and there were a couple of posters who would strait up call you a dumb mother****er for a view or opinion. I never once used inappropriate language just responded to the guy to relax. Another poster in boxed me and said " hey i hear you he is an asshole but dont say anything hes got pull". I figured that if i couldnt express or defend myself it wasnt a board i wAnted to be on. Than i literally got booted off for not wishing devin thomas good luck when he retired. Lol. I swear to God that is basically how it went down. One of the mods checked my ip address or sonething and figured out i got the peahead and booted off before. I was banned for life at that point.

Let's see how he finishes out the year. At this point, based on what some of the insider's have said, it seems that MS may have lost much of the team. Certainly Haslett appears to have lost the D. If we have a collapse, no turnaround whatsoever, I think it is a legitimate conversation to ask okay, not seeing it Mike. If on the other hand, he pulls it out and we finish in 7-9 or 8-8, I got no problem with giving him one or possibly two more years (depending on next year).

Edit: ridiculous to those who now see some merit in the question not me personally.

| Re: Should Mike Shanahan be fired? Punch ... do you feel obligated to respond to every post made by someone else? I am just curious what would happen if you had a thought you did not express - would the voices in your head drive you to kill? Root for the Cowboys? or would your brain actually explode? I kid, I kid. It's all good. I just laugh everytime I look at your post count.

I am on tapatalk usually. It is much easier to post in the same threads because there is a " participated threads " tab. So i tend to post in only about two or three seperate threads for long periods of time. I figure this gives plenty of room for people to not be annoyed by my post count and also allows me to quiet the voices in my head. Edit: not to toot my own horn but i think sometimes i make some pretty good points, but instead of people saying - " i never thought about it that way" (even if they are thinking that) they say - your annoying thus leading to more posts from yours truely.
