| re: Hey Ho, Haslett has to go! (or maybe not) I'd be ok with that depending on their background. Leslie Frazier and Raheem Morris are two guys who made the most of their opportunities when they were in the lower coaching ranks, and I'd be suprised if Raheem isn't a coordinator again pretty soon. Obviously he didn't work out as a head coach and the jury's still out on Frazier but both are guys who have definitely made the most of opportunities when they presented themselves. As long as it isn't another hire like Haslett (mediocre track record with being a d-coordinator and from what it sounds like wasn't even that enthusiastic about coaching a 3-4) I'm fine with it. |

| re: Hey Ho, Haslett has to go! (or maybe not) Slowik was a terrible DC. Think about all those years MS had a great offense in Denver and terrible defense then look at who was the DC. It was Slowik. Slowick should still be our defensive backs coach not the linebackers coach. I wonder if we could take Kirby Smart off Saban's staff?

| re: Hey Ho, Haslett has to go! (or maybe not) Only if it brought more pressure on the QB which I think was probably the reason for switching to the 3-4 in the first place. We want to be like the team that just kicked our ass. Seems to work pretty well for them. But we have a secondary that beyond sucks and a DC that isn't very proficient at running it.

| re: Hey Ho, Haslett has to go! (or maybe not) Changing during the season makes no sense so can him after the season. I know we don't have players but it looks like the scheme isn't any good. The Rams game and this past one against Pittsburgh were just awful awful performacnes. |

| re: Hey Ho, Haslett has to go! (or maybe not) The defense was much better playing a 4-3 so MS has to take blame for this. I'd have to say for 7 mil a year Snyder isn't getting a good return on investment. |

| re: Hey Ho, Haslett has to go! (or maybe not) Has he ever? Perfect examples are Haynesworth and Hall.

| re: Hey Ho, Haslett has to go! (or maybe not) As much as Haslett needs to go, I'd honestly be more concerned about getting better players and what's the plan on doing that. Who are the top free agents? Is it possible to move up in the draft? Demarcus Milliner from Alabama looks like a pretty damn good corner. |

| re: Hey Ho, Haslett has to go! (or maybe not) The problem isn't the 3-4. The problem is reserves not being able to play up to the level of injured starters. Jarvis Jenkins hasn't done squat in replacing Adam Carriker and while Rob Jackson and Chris Wilson are good backups, neither has generated the pass rush of Orakpo. Cofield and Bowen have played well. Kerrigan, Fletcher, and Riley have also played well. But Hall, Wilson, Madieu Williams, and Doughty have played poorly. I don't think you can fire Haslett. While he's coordinates the defense, he isn't responsible for schooling the defensive backs. That falls on Raheem Morris and if the defensive backfield is under performing, then it falls on the secondary coach and not the defensive coordinator. |
