| Re: If Shanny's Not Your Man, Then What Is Your Plan? Thank you for submitting something legit. A shame with all the hatters, they couldn't come up with anything really. Quote:
Cam Cameron? Absolutely not. That guy is about to be ran out of Baltimore as it is. I have watched too many Ravens game where he has Flacco passing 40+ times with Ray Rice having hardly any carries. He's the only name on your list I found to be a terrible choice. Quote:
The one problem I have with Bill Polian is the same one I have with AJ Smith. Brilliant mind, but lets his ego get in the way. No way would he be able to coexist with Danny.

| Re: If Shanny's Not Your Man, Then What Is Your Plan? No coaches. RGIII just takes 10 guys out to play street ball on offense. The D just flies around and goes headhunting on every play...when they get tired or hurt, they tap out like a pro wrestler for a breather. I say Lorenzo Alexander can be the Defensive captain since he can play every position. He picks the starters. Lets just try it out for one year.

| Re: If Shanny's Not Your Man, Then What Is Your Plan? well, if our entire team were RGIIIs and STs, that'd actually work really well. sadly, the reality is a bit different.

| Re: If Shanny's Not Your Man, Then What Is Your Plan? Your right your just a fan who wants to fire a coach every 2 or 3 years and wonder why we have been a big shit show for the last decade.

| Re: If Shanny's Not Your Man, Then What Is Your Plan? I like the thread paintrain and its funny that all the Shanny haters could not come up with a solid plan to replace him. Its easy to say fire a coach but when things are not going well. We need to stop having knee jerk reactions when the team loses. Hey we have a ton of injuries and a rookie qb that is a difference maker. Look every one is on the Colts bandwagon cause they have a winning record now. Tell who have they played this year. Their schedule is garbage but hey they are winning against bad teams so I give them some props. As for the Redskins we need to learn how to have a home field advantage thats the most disappointing thing about this team is our poor home record. Damn are our fans that bad we can't win at home. Im supporting Shanny and I know he wil turn this thing around.

| Re: If Shanny's Not Your Man, Then What Is Your Plan? If there's a college i like, it would be Stanford's David Shaw. He's was flying low under the radar, Stanford beating Oregon just put him into the spotlight. Last year he had Andrew Luck. This year they lost many key players from last year, including making a QB switch 2 weeks ago.

| Re: If Shanny's Not Your Man, Then What Is Your Plan? History shows that college coaches (with no NFL background) simply do not do well in the league. Different game. The only college coach that's been successful has been Jimmy Johnson. Even then, he couldn't duplicate that success at Miami. Even the "great" Nick Saban was a bust in the NFL.

| Re: If Shanny's Not Your Man, Then What Is Your Plan? You are right!! Shaw has proven this year that he can win on his own without Harbaugh. Last year he inherited an excellent team (2 players from that team were drafted in the 1st round and 2 in the 2nd). This year he had to fill many holes, switched to a new QB 2 weeks ago, a redshirt freshman (Kevin Hogan) and beat #2 ranked Oregon in Oregon and held them to 14 pts. As for being ready for the NFL, I would give him one more year, but would put him under consideration. By the way, he has been an NFL assistant for 9 years before going back to college.
