| Bye Week Blues So, I am curious how everyone felt about our bye week. I know for me, I had started to look forward to it getting here. I certainly prefer the team getting a later one rather than an early one, but the Week 10 and 11 byes (don't know if week 12 has any), are kinda late in the season for my taste. So there are really two questions if anyone feels like discussing them: 1) when do you think the "best" bye week is? and 2) was Sunday more entertaining, being able to watch football without the edge of the seat nervousness that is Redskins football? |

| Re: Bye Week Blues I like having a bye week about where we have ours. A few seasons ago, we had some ridiculous Week 4 or 5 bye. Later than mid-season is probably best, to get healthy for a playoff push if in position. As for the bye week, I didn't mind it...we needed a week off, as a team and fans. It was nice to watch us gain ground in the division without doing anything while the Giants and Eagles both lost.

| Re: Bye Week Blues Im glad its over.. Now we can beat Philly this week and rejoice as fans, and the people hating on the coaches can hide under a rock for a week.

| Re: Bye Week Blues I think we needed it at the time we got it. I had actually forgotten it was the bye week and went to Virginia with a friend. I realized it would be the first game I missed unless it was a 4:00 game and we got back in time but I couldn't bear the thought of watching the stinking Iggles beat us so I really wasn't that concerned. Now...maybe just because of the time off...I'm liking our chances better. So for me...it was a good time for a bye. I agree with having it a little later rather than early to give the guys a chance to rest up and heal for the remainder of the season.

Dependent on the timing of injuries, not on how late the bye is. |
