| Re: Skins 31 Eagles 6 Well, when you beat a team by 25, its always a good day. Merriweather, wow. I didn't expect him to play that much today. He looked like he could be our starting SS for years. Its one game though. And people who went to training camp said he was awful, so we'll see next week (hopefully he plays) Good to see Garcon back. All the WRs stepped up huge today. We can all be positive for a week now

| Re: Skins 31 Eagles 6 Wow. What a game. When was the last time the Skins beat a divisional opponent by at least 25 points? I imagine we'd have to go back more than ten years. |

| Re: Skins 31 Eagles 6 Thank you! See you MNF in Fedex - the 5-6 Redskins vs the 6-5 Giants for a share of the NFC east division lead. p.s. - your remaining shedule is brutal

| Re: Skins 31 Eagles 6 Of course playing a rookie QB with a very suspect O-Line was definitely a big part of the equation, I think the addition of Merriweather really gave this defense a huge spark. He played lights out in my opinion, against the run and the pass. Hopefully his injury is not something that will keep him out for an extended period of time. And I think the offense will only progress as Garcon gets more reps again. Here's to a second half with no injuries, and keep this thing going in Big D... |

| Re: Skins 31 Eagles 6 The second Dallas game in 2005 was a 25+ point victory (and one of my favorite all-time Redskins wins). But that might be it in the last ten years. We've no doubt been on the receiving end of divisional blowouts during that span, so it is indeed nice to give a little.

Use yesterday as and example of solid safety play and we need to focus in the offseason in bringing in another playmaker at free safety.

| Re: Skins 31 Eagles 6 MVP not named RGIII = Meriweather He set the tone for the D. He was hitting hard, covering well, creating turnovers. It was like a completely different defense with him in there because he immediately fixed the defense's weakest position. Thankfully his knee injury was very minor. It's reported that he could have returned to the game but they held him out to be ready for Dallas on short rest. Smart move.
