Browns we could, could beat, I see that as playing the panthers defense and the vikings offense. Eagles---this can be a trap game. They have NOTHING to lose, more going for it on 4th down; the fact that everyone here is saying we will beat them; I think we win, but Trap Game. Cowboys--they play us at home, but they always play us well at our place. I think this is the who goes and who stays playoff game right here. This game will be huge. Keep in mind, that the cowboys didn't have Tyron Smith (LT) DeMarco Murray (RB) Jay Ratlif (NT) and Miles Austin for most the game (WR) when they played us, and they made it close. It is by no means a "We'll definitely win that game" kind of game. Also keep an eye on seattle and their DBs suspension, cause they go, that secondary goes, and that defense gets worse and that team loses more than they should, and there goes their playoff chances.

| Re: Giants at Redskins Post Game Thread This week, but only 4pm games can be flexed. All of our remaining games are at 1pm so they can't be flexed.

| Re: Giants at Redskins Post Game Thread I am very pleased with our d. We allow the offense to go down the field but tighten up in the red zone. We held the giants to 20 points and that's an accomplishment. Haslett is working miracles with a defense that's starting Atleast 5 guys that should be backups. Kudos to him. And fletcher looks great.

| Re: Giants at Redskins Post Game Thread Excellent win by the Redskins tonight. We should be proud of these players. Garcon is the truth! RG3 is second to none playing QB in the NFL. Rob Jackson's sack of Manning came at a great time. Joshua Morgan's fumble recovery-run for a TD. So many great plays made in this game. HTTR!!! |

| Re: Giants at Redskins Post Game Thread What a great game to see live. Great atmosphere despite the fact that there were a decent amount of Giants fans in attendance. 1000th post!

| Re: Giants at Redskins Post Game Thread Well, I was hoping for a smash mouth game where we run right at them (instead of 100 passes between the two QBs) and I got my wish. Huge points for Alfred Morris for shaking off the fumble and racking up great yardage. His last first down was pure effort -- he simply wanted it more than the defenders. In would say that about a lot of our guys tonight -- they played with heart. A couple of guys were just outstanding -- C. Griffin, D. Young, and P. Riley all had very stout games; best of the season for them as far as I am concerned. Whatever happens the rest of the season, I can say right now (and could have said a week ago too, I suppose) that I have had more fun watching our team this year than any other since the first Gibbs era. Hail, baby! |
