| Pierce gone, Barrow Cut Pierce is gone, and my dad just said they said on the Doc Walker show that Barrow is gone. So what do you guys think now. I think we could get a steal on Kendrall Bell. The guy is freaking amazing, he just has had the injury bug. So if we can get him for a good price then it would be awesome.

| Re: Pierce gone, Barrow Cut If they can get Kendrell Bell, they should definitely go after him. If he is healthy and seems like he could stay healthy they should go after him. He's better than Pierce.

It does not seem likely that we would release Barrow, our only other MLB, right after loosing Pierce to the Giants. That really makes no sense at all. We need to hear this from other sources before we start believing it. |

| Re: Pierce gone, Barrow Cut brandon barnes is our other middle linebacker on the roster. and coach williams loves him. brandon used to play wr in high school and is very quick to the ball. we might just see more of him this year and not on the practice squad. might be another linebacker cinderella story |

| Re: Pierce gone, Barrow Cut Barrow is a great player but he has a degenerative condition with his knee. It is not going to get any better, only worse if he keeps playing. If he plays, it will be with discomfort and swelling. His days are numbered. Kendrell Bell played in a 3-4 system. Big jump to MLB of 4-3. |

| Re: Pierce gone, Barrow Cut i want to see it official before i believe it... but... bell has been injury prone for much of his career. he is also looking to sign a mega contract. better to look at: hartwell- almost made the raven's fans forget lewis when he was out fields- similar to pierce. smart, mobile and tough ruff- underrated player at san diego as for barnes.. every time he was in, it seemed he got blown up taking on the blockers. better to give clifton smith, who is a true inside backer and weighs over 250, the chance at the position if barrow is indeed gone, they already have the replacement in mind. he might even be onthe way to redskin park as we speak... |

He said that Washington was his first choice and he would give the Skins the chance to match any offer. Gibbs said they've gone as far as they can. I don't really see where Pierce's actions are contradictory at all to his actions.

I just saw that David Patten was supposed to visit Redskins Park today, dont quite know how to do the links but it was in the washington times. If Patten signs and we can keep coles or get moss, I think we would be set, Patten definitely has better hands then Gardner |

| Re: Pierce gone, Barrow Cut What do youll think about going after Pollard, I think our defense it ok, make some minor changes, i think williams can put anyone in there at MLB if they keep blitzing from all over. I think its safe to go after Patten, hes a vet, team player, and can teach the young guys mostly jacobs and hopefully mike williams how to get better. With jansen coming back, samuels, thomas and now rabach Im thinking we will see more 64 yd runs from Portis like his first touch as a skin. Give ramsey patten and moss and williams and im telling you gibbs will let it fly, something everyone has been wanting |
