| Re: Ravens at Redskins Post Game Thread (RG3 MRI Result-Sprained Knee) Coming in I thought it was a bad matchup. The Ravens power run game can be dominate when they set their minds to running the ball. Still, I thought we adjusted well enough in the 2nd half. |

Our oline does need upgrades. You will also see 2 route sets out of the pistol three man backfield option look and the line break down a couple of times. They couldn't stop us the first quarter, after that it was a grind. D also had first half breakdowns and came back to really make some huge plays in the second half. Gotta say Haslett has made some great halftime adjustments the last two weeks. ( or is it Morris ) hmmm... lol

| Re: Ravens at Redskins Post Game Thread (RG3 MRI Result-Sprained Knee) We didnt beat the Ravens with a rookie quarterback. We beat them with TWO rookie quarterbacks and a rookie running back.

| Re: Ravens at Redskins Post Game Thread (RG3 MRI Result-Sprained Knee) I've read that Tim Hightower is probably ready to play. Would it make sense to bring him in now and cut Williams ( I don't think he's touched the ball). I would make that move now.

| Re: Ravens at Redskins Post Game Thread (RG3 MRI Result-Sprained Knee) It was actually an "off schedule play" Garçon saw his man peak ( garçon was running an in pattern ) when he saw him peak he called for the ball with his hand raised to the end zone. Cousins saw him and floated it in there. The play call on the 2 point conversion was genius.

| Re: Ravens at Redskins Post Game Thread (RG3 MRI Result-Sprained Knee) Very glad to see we don't have any idiots here talking about trading cousins. We need him because of the risks rg3 takes. He's invaluable to our team.

Pretty much spot on. I was yelling at the TV with RGIII holding the ball so long on the sacks he took. He's a rookie, and I thought he played like one today. If one would look at the mere stats alone, you'd think he had a hell of a game. The reality of it is that he put up yardage, but he was 2-10 on 3rd down conversions today. He and the offensive unit got really no points off 2 turnovers provided by the defense. I think he played a shitty game besides the first quarter and a half to be honest. Said it before, the game isn't won on how many yards you accumulate, it's won by sustaining drives and scoring. Our 3rd down conversion is horrible, and he was 3-10 for the game. (Kurt was 1-1) All that said, if this is a shitty game by RGIII, I'll take it over a John Beck shitty game, or a Rex Grossman shitty day. RGIII's off games are better than most QB's good days.

Seriously though, for web-based Redskins insiders you're not likely to find a better one than LL. He's much more in tune with the current Redskins than I have been for a long time. We often get similar info, but from different angles.
