he hasn't done it often lately, but it's awesome when kerrigan bull-rushes the o-lineman straight back into the qb. he's done that on occasion, even getting a hand on the ball/hand/arm.

2011 draft is going to go down as the sack class

Sometimes it works. He is incredible with getting his hands on the ball. To your point on lack of sacks though i feel he is one dimensional.

On the one hand, the pitch play frustrates me when all we need is one simple yard and sometimes you need to quit being creative/unpredictable and just execute. On the other hand, if the pitch was completed there was a lot of open field for a big, big gain. And that's what has made Kyle's offense special

Ill take the big picture anyday which is the offense rocks. As long as we are scoring and winning i dont care what the ranking says about third down conversions. It is admittedly odd that our awesome offense seems to struggle on third downs. Do you think this is due to the fact that we are missing Davis and dont really have that posession receiver / te that can move the chains on third and longs?

I went with Crawford this week. I really think had he not returned the ball that far on the punt, we don't win the game. That run put us immediately in FG range and took the game out of Cousins hands. As a cold-off-the-bench rookie, I'd rather not rely on him to make plays in OT.

I love watching reporters try to ask the same question different ways to MS to try and get more out of him. And it never happens. Has anyone in this forum who's more connected ever been in one of those? It just seems gloriously awkward with Shanny stonewalling everything. Like an episode of the office with Michael Scott.

Yes. 3rd downs have been problematic all year. 29th of 32 teams. RT @NC_Skins23 What's that 3rd down conversion percentage? Still horrible?

Ranking 29th out of 32 teams in 3rd down conversion is pathetic. Makes me mad to no end that this offense is so potent, but stalls out on 3rd downs. What really infuriates me is when I see a option pitch play on 3rd and short. Makes me want to drive to DC to choke Kyle.

NC, you've got problems.

Or you don't read what you write. Or there's something missing.

Probably time to move on and get a life, obviously this is way to much for you. And disagreeing with me makes my case. Have at it.

Kerrigan has proven he cannot cut it. Teams have been single blocking him and taking him out of the game. Does the same thing every play. I think a 3-4 DE would increase our pass rush. Possibly switch to wade Philips one gap 3-4 and draft a dynamic 3-4 end. We still need a MLB because our run defense is not good and linebackers can't cover tight ends. Pass rush makes your pass defense incredibly better.

Thank you for your insight, Dr. SFREDSKIN.

If they decreased the width between the uprights by 50%, Cobra Kai would still be perfect.

Phenomenal win. Couldn't be prouder.

Kerrigan certainly benefits from having Orakpo on the other side, but I have to disagree with the idea that he "cannot cut it". His total tackles are slightly down from last year, but his sack totals will likely be higher. He obviously hasn't had quite the same impact as last season, but that's to be expected when the primary pass rusher is on IR and he has to pick up the slack, basically by himself.

And in spite of the fact that the Redskins were gouged by Ray Rice yesterday, they're still seventh in the league against the run, and giving up less than 100 yards per game. They are by no means, bad against the run.
