and we have not been good run defense . . . our over run d ranking is due to teams not running against us because our offense scores and its very easy to pass on us . . . look at opposing yards per carry . . . 4.2 . . . that's 15th . . . that's middle of the pack and that's without backs being able to just grind it out and get into a rhythm due to lack of carries . . .

| Re: Ravens at Redskins Post Game Thread (RG3 MRI Result-Sprained Knee) I never said he's not a good player. Honestly, I think Cofield would be an AMAZING defensive end in our scheme, especially against the run, but he'd also big huge in pass rush.

Cofield is not a convential NFL NT. He played at 306 last season and he's up to 318 this season. He played NT @ Northwestern before being drafted by the NYG for his ability to penetrate against the offensive line. Conventional NT or not, Cofield is a great defensive linemen but I don't see him playing any other place along the defensive front except NT.

| Ton of comments on this thread and admittedly, I have not read them all, so I apologize if this is redundant. The Redskins-Ravens game had everything! Games like this one are the reason why fans so love the NFL. This game will sell tickest to future games, and will improve TV ratings of future games, and sell SundayTicket packages. This Redskin win is why we watch. We want to see our team do something special against playoff caliber teams. I texted some of my Redskin buddies after the game and told them that this might just be the best regular season NFL game that I have ever seen, or at least remember, since my viewing covers a lot of ground (back to 1955). When writers recall the current segment of Redskins history in future years, this game will be prominently discussed. The drama was compelling. The Redskins started fast, faded, and then made a dramatic comeback! Mix in the injury to our superstar, his heroic effort to re-enter the game, and then the touch that Redskin fans have loved forever & a day, the backup QB enters to save the day. What a script - Hollywood could not have done better. A great game, great win, and a great day! What next, Phoenix rises from the ashes? Absolutely! |

It doesn't matter when. ![]() 6-1 w/ him in the lineup and he's been scoring. He should of had 2 scores, but they didn't challenge the second one Sunday, and Alfo scored anyhow.

Keeping with the oline I noticed Kerrigan playing DE a few downs the last two weeks maybe...? Can't remember seeing that before? Anyway, I think Kerrigan can play either position.

It would be even more amazing if Kirk C starts this week and wins against Cleveland to keep all the hard work of everyone continuing to pay off. Cleveland is going to be tough.
