SC- One of the reasons Williams got a lot of mentions for jobs (and not interviews) was that he instructed his agent to inform the Niners and (I think) the Browns he was not interested. If I were compiling a list after that was made public, his would not be my first name on paper. The pundits were thrilled with his performance as a DC, but they don't do any hiring. Few coaches get offered multiple HC jobs, fewer still with career losing records. It only takes one good offer, though.
