| Re: Around the league divisional weekend Yeah if people want to talk about a playoff clutch Manning, they should be talking about Eli, not Peyton. The dude is like freakin Houdini sometimes pulling wins out his ass.

| Re: Around the league divisional weekend I think after seeing Manning and Brady the past two days, I've noticed one thing; Manning tries to do too much because he doesn't trust his defense putting away an opponent, whereas Brady trusts his defense, considering their being coached by one of the best Defensive Coordinators to coach the game (BB). Take yesterdays game for example, manning throws the ball across his body doing something he know he shouldn't do, because 10 minutes earlier his ''vaunted'' defense misjudged a ball for a 60+ yard TD pass. Brady knew his defense would make the Texans one dimensional by taking away the run and make Schaub beat them. So he already had a good chance of winning, just don't do something stupid, and he would win the game. I firmly believe that if Peytons on New England in the 00's and Bradys on the Colts, Peyton would have 3 rings, Brady would have 1. Defense can dictate how a game is played by both sides.

| Re: Around the league divisional weekend Manning is a master of chess style offense, where he is the grand strategist. And in the regular season, that beats most of the NFL defenses most of the time, but in the playoffs, when all the opponents have some level of competence, and parts that are highly effective, he struggles. Brady is more of the working man's elite qb. He isn't going to "out think" the opponent. He's going to go out and beat you with what he has. In a playoff comparison between the 2, I (and most everyone else I think) would take Brady to lead a team thru every time. |

| Re: Around the league divisional weekend Just a thought: I know we're a team with real needs both on offense and defense. At the same time, we are only a healthy RG3 away from playing in the Super Bowl. There's no question in my mind that we would have handled Seattle and could have beaten the birds on Atlanta with our QB even close to full speed. Kind of amazing when you think about it. And something to keep in mind as we plod through the long off season. HTTR |

| Re: Around the league divisional weekend Manning and Brady are two of the best QBs to ever play the game. That we get to see both of them is amazing. And I, for one, don't know why we can't just appreciate that Meanwhile, can you believe that every losing team this weekend scored at least 4 TDs?

| Re: Around the league divisional weekend I agree. Aaron Rogers seems like the next quarterback the be he great one for this decade. The endings to the Baltimore and Atlanta wins were amazing. Talk about not giving up. |

too bad about Gronk being out the rest of the playoffs. guess he'll just have to party it out in the clubs the rest of the season.

| Re: Around the league divisional weekend Looking back on it, I still wish Gibbs would have drafted Aaron Rodgers instead of Jason Campbell. Rodgers obviously turned out to have the better career of the two.
