| Re: Around the NFL: Conference Championships Edition that's fair, just showing a history of the type of character this franchise has. Along with the winning, there's alot of bs. Karma

![]() It's just interesting how the media "crucifies" Tim Tebow for his faith, even when he just wears a scripture on his eyeblack and doesn't even vocally share his beliefs, and everyone hates him for it...but Ray Lewis gets cameras in his face 24/7 to egg him on for his next over-the-top sermon. Tebow is legitimately a good person and role model. Ray Lewis was involved in a murder and has impregnated multiple women...and somehow he's the darling of the media? I bet if RGIII wasn't as successful on the field as he has been, he'd be taking a lot of criticism for his opens displays of faith too. People would give him the same treatment as Tebow just because his mere presence as a Christian athlete would "offend" them. Redskins QB Robert Griffin III after big win: God is on our side

| Re: Around the NFL: Conference Championships Edition I can't really say I've seen the media (let's just assume everyone in the media is of the same opinion about everything) giving Tebow a hard time because of his religion. They bash him for his inability to be a full time starting QB

| Alot of these athletes that are being referred to as "bad citizens" were also not born with a half a chance. I can only imagine how hard it must be for a kid to grow up in the type of household that alot of them did, having to fend off the path of gang relations and drug habits that so many of their friends take. Instead they use their talent and time to rise above the rest and make a very nice living for themselves and their families. I think as fans we take for granted the situations that many (not all) but many come from.

Edit: Doesn't have to be in a particular order because who could say, but generally which five are best run today?

| ^^^ whichever five win the most. Lol. Thats tough because some just dont have a fan base which allows them to compete. Edit: Jacksonviille for example will never generate the revenue that say the Steelers do. It dont matter who is running what imo - they just arent on a level playing field.

And Ray Lewis is a murderer, or at minimum, an accessory after the fact. Its always bothered me he just moved on from that situation and no one ever brings it up. If the fact that the white suit he was wearing that night went "missing" and could not be provided to authorities doesnt raise your suspsicions, then the fact that the paid settlements to the victim's families should. He was somehow involved in two murders. Why no one seems to care about it is beyond me.

And I'm talking about organizations that people take pride in working for, not just collecting a paycheck. Also, organizations that treat people in my profession with respect.

I feel like people think it's a, "good guy, right place, wrong time", kind of situation.

| Re: Around the NFL: Conference Championships Edition People need to seperate a players "personal life" from his play on the field.I don't like Ray Lewis for alot of what has already been talked about but his play on the field during his career has been spectacular. Tom Brady ,maybe he is an ass,I don't know him but their isn't a soul out there that would'nt want to be him Bill Belichick, like him don't like him,is one of the top coachs in NFL history, maybe even the best and has the rings to prove it.

| I wasnt there BHA. I dont know. Could have been in the wrong place at the wrong time. Could have panicked when it went down and dished the suit because it had blood on it because he was trying to defuse the situation? I dont know? I know he waa found to be innocent and ill have to believe it was because someone knew the facts better than me or you or people who are rubbed the wrong way by his sermons or speeches or sack dances. Some people think Shanny is an arrogant prick too btw. Im nobodys judge or jury and if you win championships you deserve credit. Im not interested on how much fun BB would be to hang out with because i dont even know him. Lol.
