Senior Bowl buzz: QB over-drafting, boring free-agency class - NFL.com

Looks like people crushing the Jets at the Senior Bowl:

"One topic kept coming up in talks with people around the league: Mark Sanchez's contract. As in, how could Mike Tannenbaum do it, and guarantee his salary for 2013? Tannenbaum's inability to explain away that contract -- as a salary-cap guy -- might keep him out of the league this year and for years to come."

"Gang Green seemed to be on everyone's mind in Mobile, though it wasn't (just) Tim Tebow this time. Everyone's wondering the same question: How did a dynamic, forward-moving team that reached the AFC title game two years in a row turn into such a mess? It was not missed in league circles, for instance, that David Caldwell chose the Jacksonville Jaguars -- straight up -- over the Jets when offered the chance to serve as GM of either."

Hey at least he won't get injured in the game. Glad he wasn't a seriously hurt and doesn't appear to be at fault.

Titus Young of Detroit Lions continues Twitter rant against team - ESPN

Guys like this shouldn't even be in the NFL. Would be nice to see every last team just blackball this dumbass. He doesn't deserve a job in the NFL.

I would be absolutely stunned if a team actually sign him when Lions release him

"Like I said I never been selfish but if I'm not going to get the football i don't want to play anymore," Young wrote.

Gotta love the melodramatic irony there.
