Beyonce is one of the most popular acts out there across nearly all age groups. They certainly well publicized that she would be there, and the previews should have been enough to let you decide if it wasn't the cup of tea for some families, I think they know how to change the channel.

I'm not even a fan of her music but I thought Beyonce rocked that halftime. I think in this day and age people can handle a little rump shakin'. The 6:00 news is far more offensive at times.

I personally think all of the halftime stuff is pure garbage. Bringing all that crap on the field and making it a concert at halftime is so damn ridiculous. Call me a grumpy old man or a purist, but to me there is just no need for it at all. After U2 did it they should have just done away with it. I think they should do a punt, pass and kick or another form of entertainment....just something different than all this garbage that I see every year. The NFL needs to remember that it's a football game. Save all the glitz and glamour during the week.
