that's a dumb response, possibly the rudest and most ignorant I've seen here. Even taking the vegetarian discussion into account.

I somehow see DRave with a similar response (particularly the 1:00 to 1:10 part) to 44ever's comments

Re: Ravens v. Niners Super Bowl Thread

Never heard any of these same clowns complain about the Sunday Night Football intro with Faith Hill wearing a skirt so short, she may have just wore a T-shirt and panties.

Better yet.....none of you have a problem with these ladies who are present at each and every home game.

The ignorance on this subject is stupendous.

Also being a woman, she would have no idea what its like being a father to a young daughter as some of us are. So by her telling FD to "parent his child and get out of here with that BS" was very rude IMO.

Lets not try and make this more than what its intent was. Veggies have nothing to do with this. Just dont like seeing FD's post shot down because it has some morals built into it.
No, FD is one portion of the superbowl audience, for him and his family, they didn't want to see the halftime show, that is fine. The point is, he was not the pure spectrum that the superbowl was intended for, and to think that they should only serve to his tastes is wrong. If they were having some sort of whacked out caligula style court orgy, then morals comes into it, but this was a mainstream america singer, dressed with enough clothes so as not to be ruled unviewable in primetime, singing top 10 hits and dancing reasonably non pole dance moves.

Firstdown said the SB should have chosen a more appropriate act. He's wrong, and your response, although insensitive and rude does point to the fact the SB's target audience was more than just the family friendly cadre.

The act was appropriate for the SB target audience, and an ok halftime show.

Maybe you nned to go back and look at Madonaa's performance last year before you make that leap. I don't think I ever said I would want to sensor what people watch I just think the SB could find something better for that event. If I want to see a half naked woman shaking her ass I don't need to tune in to the SB there are plenty of places to find that. If you need that so bad for your SB entertainment then maybe you guys are the ones with the problem.

This is entire interaction is the rudest thing I've ever seen anyone say to me on this site and I've been here since the damn site was almost uploaded.

One, if you're going to be a jackass at least get your jackassery correct, I'm bisexual. And you speculating on my personal life and who I'm attracted to specifically is beyond your realm or anyone else on this message board.

You 44ever, are an stupid, ignorant, misogynistic, disrespectful asshole and you can kindly go f yourself.

How you haven't gotten banned is beyond me. I'm all for people showering me with their hate but once you start speculating about my personal life, its over a line.

Yea, sorry I ever mention the subject. So you ready for summer to get here to head down to Nags Head. Can you even get to your parent place without taking the ferry?

Parenting a kid would be what my brother's wife does whenever she sees them watching something she believes is inappropriate for her two sons and daughter (under the age of 5): turning the channel, tell them to leave the room or turning the TV off.

I believe there is a fine line between parents demanding a certain level of restriction to TV programs and parents needing to do their jobs as parents (and not the censors or FCC).

In this situation, unless someone has been living under a rock, they should know that the Superbowl could have material not suitable for children including:
- Players dropping the F-bomb
- An all out brawl
- Players getting a terrible injury
- Players getting knocked out in a harsh manner
- Suggestive TV commercials
- Suggestive halftime acts

Given that the Superbowl and the halftime show took place during primetime, when most young children are going to bed, I think it is a ridiculous to expect none of these things to happen. I would also hope that parents would have the responsibility to make sure that their children do not watch this or explain that what they are seeing is inappropriate behavior (teachable moment).

So you're talking about morals and whatnot, yet you don't even have the decency to apologize when you've obviously offended someone?

I never said I was a lesbian. EVER.

I never said I was attracted to Beyonce. EVER. (Though she is attractive)

You also made a stupid sweeping generalization that because I'm black, I must be attracted to black women.

Just because I'm bisexual doesn't mean I don't have morals. It also doesn't mean that I look at women like a thirsty wolf on the prowl.

Your perspective is so warped, I can't even deign to respond to you anymore.

Re: Ravens v. Niners Super Bowl Thread

FD, I understand your perspective and I have no doubt you're an admirable man and father. I wasn't addressing you specifically in my original Super Bowl halftime comment.

I just wanted to put that out there since 44ever seemed to think I was attacking you personally, and I wasn't. If you took it that way, I apologize.
