Welcome to the board, and I agree completely. Wide receiver as a draft priority just took a hit, and even the fourth wideout in this offense didn't see much action. A rookie-fifth wideout will be lucky to have a spot on the team bus.

Exactly what I've been thinking! Who would be cut to make room? Thrash? Jacobs? I don't think so....Thrash is the consumate pro and a special teams playmaker, and Jacobs could really emerge this year, not to mention that he made a few big plays on ST last year also.
They may decide to just let McCants go to give him the opportunity to play more somewhere else, instead of being inactive for just about every game. I could see them drafting a WR, but in a later round to groom for a couple years from now.
