In order for the Skins to get any cap relief I would think the NFLPA would have to sign off on the deal, unless a court ordered it, just like they had to sign off on the penalty. The fact that they want to use it to revisit the CBA or the collusion case instead of doing what is right, pretty much stymies any efforts the Skins might make. Like Schneed said earlier, these deals seem to show that the Skins are going to bite the bullet this year, and then move on. Hopefully DS learned a life lesson about over committing to pull in big name FAs.

How many of us predicted we'd sign Garcon at this point last year. My memories kind of faded, but I don't remember SS saying we'd get him or we were even interested in him at this point last year.
Said it in February if not sooner. Said Garcon, Golston, and Royal were on our radar. With Garcon the priority. Had no clue about Morgan and guess I was wrong about Golston.

This year was a lot tougher to tell. Biggers I knew we had interest, but he wasn't a priority. There was no clear cut #1 target for us it seemed.

Btw, random thought, but did you search "ss" to find this post or are you just reading through all the threads you've missed?
No, SFRedskin said he liked Morgan. I never suspected he was on our radar in any way

The latter
